【Kamp around】という企画について。
【Kamp around】は、世界各国のカルチャーについて、 Kamp に任命された旅人が、実際に各地で「みたもの」「ふれたこと」「かんじたこと」について、現地からレポートを入れたり、帰国後にワークショップやイベントとして紹介していく企画で、現在、すでに数名の旅人が旅の支度を進めています。

街角のジュース屋にいつも立っていた僕が、縁あって台湾マンゴーの輸入をすることに 研修で訪れた南部のピントン県、日本でいうところの農協で働く中で知り合った多くの人々。 ある朝、一緒に集荷先を回っていた陳さんが、見慣れない僕を農家のおばちゃんに紹介してくれた。 僕が日本人だと分かると、彼女はガレージの奥にある部屋から冷たいジュースを持ってきてくれた。 「言葉は違うけれど私、心は日本人だから」おばちゃんはそう言って、笑いながらジュースを手渡してくれた。 なんとも言えない不思議な感覚、泣きそうになった。 この言葉が僕の台湾に通い続ける全ての始まりだった。 岡山からほんの数時間で行ける距離なのに、僕はあまりにも台湾のことを知らなかった。 もっとたくさんの人に台湾を訪れてほしい、そして台湾を知ってほしい。そんな思いを抱いて、明日から台湾に行ってきます。 平和の和に生きると書いて和生

A man who just working at flesh fruits juice shop happened to start the import of Taiwanese mangos by ties. In Pingtung, southern part of Taiwan where I visited as induction, I met many people who worked at farmers’ cooperative, same as JA as in Japan. One day in the morning, when I was collecting the crops with Mr. Chen, he intrduced me to a farm lady. As she knew I was Japanese, she went back to the kitchen and brought a cup of well-chilled juice. She handed it to me with a smile on her face, saying ” We use different language, but I have Japanese heart.” I was about to cry. It was her words that makes me keep visiting Taiwan. Although Taiwan is a couple of hours far from Okayama by plane, I knew almost nothing about Taiwan. I wish more people will visit and know about Taiwan. With such a hope, I’ll leave for Taiwan again tomorrow. 平和の和に生きると書いて和生
